How to Get a Japanese Driver's License

If you do not have a valid driver's license from your home country and want to obtain a Japanese driver's license, you have to go to a Driver's License Center and pass the learner's permit qualifying test, a written test, and a driving skill test. After passing exams from an approved driving school you gain exemption from the driving skill test at the Driver's License Center, enabling you to get a driver's license by passing only the written test. For more information, contact the police station near you.
