TMC is expected to launch a special specification version of Corolla Axio, Corolla Fielder, Corolla Rumion, Passo and Noah celebrating the 50^th Anniversary of Toyota Corolla through Toyota Corolla dealers nationwide. The names of five models start with five initial letter that consists COROLLA.

Also, at this time, Toyota Corolla is running a campaign "Okuruma Genki Charge Activity" to enforce relationship between their dealerships and customers, "Nippon Genki Charge Campaign" to localize the activity, and also events planned by individual dealer *1. After the anniversary in June, they are planning to further enforce the content of "Nippon Genki Charge Campaign".

<Corolla Axio 50^th Anniversary Special Specification Version 1.5G "Classico">

This special specification version of Axio with a name "Classico"; first class or highest standard in Italian has enhanced interior design of its base 1.5G and enriched it by one-class higher equipments. Besides special wood tone decoration with premium accents were applied to 4 spoke steering wheel and shift knob, high quality seat upholstery, driver's seat with comfortable heating seat for comfortable driving as well as projector-style discharge lamp for safe driving in the night time are adapted. Also, grayish blue metallic was added for outer panel color.

<Corolla Fielder 50^th Anniversary Special Specification Version 1.5X "Light">

By combining light colored fresh looking interior and sporty exterior to its base 1.5X, this special specification version of Corolla Fielder gives us bright and sporty impression as its name. Besides installing front and rear spoiler, seat upholstery and center cluster with silver decoration were applied for an accent. Also light blue mica metallic was added for outer panel color.

<Corolla Rumion 50^th Anniversary Special Specification Version 1.8S "On B">

(Base: 1.8S"On B": 1.8S, 1.5G"On B": 1.5G)

This is a special specification version of Rumion with cool looking interior in black based colors and sporty exterior with aero parts. The name "On B" stands for "On Black". Besides adapting black synthetic leather with white stitches for interior and in-panel cluster in deep silky piano black, dark violet mica metallic, which stands out in the city night for outer panel color was added.

<Passo 50^th Anniversary Special Spec Version 1.0+ Hana "Apricot Collection">

The new Passo (based on 1.0+ Hana) offers a stylish and cute interior space with apricot colored *2 design and special decorations in chocolate brown. The user friendliness is improved by adding key free system and unti-theft system (engine immobilizer system).

<Noah 50^th Anniversary Special Specification Version Si "Rayish" *3>

This special specification version of Noah has a luxury design, which expresses brightness of coating and decoration with special gold (Japan gold) of interior and exterior.

Dual Power Slide Door is specially equipped to improve the convenience, Black and Grayge (specially made color) for interior and bordeaux mica metallic for outer panel are newly added.

<Campaign & Event Summary>

¨         "Okuruma Genki Charge Activity"

Toyota Corolla dealers are offering menu focusing on maintenance service in order to establish closer relationship with customers. Contents of the menu vary by each dealer.

¨         "Nippon Genki Charge Campaign"

Toyota Corolla dealers nationwide distribute "Genki Charge Card", which enable customers to receive privileges offered from genki charge spots (mostly facilities and restaurants) and Corolla dealers in the local area. The contents of the campaign will be introduced by Mr. Shuhei Shimada as well as members of FM radio nationwide (JFN 38) from June.

¨         Individual events planned by Toyota Corolla dealers nationwide

These events are going to be held four times a year during the "Okuruma Genki Charge" activity, The first event will be held from April 9^th (Sat) through May 31^st (Tue). The contents of events are services and events specially designed by each dealer (ex. Events for parents and children).

 TOYOTA announced a minor change on Noah and Voxy "G SPORTS" and expecting to launch on June 7^th (Noah from Corolla dealers and Voxy from Netz dealers nationwide).

This minor change adapted "G's" *2 and "G's Version EDGE" *3 sporty seats to emphasize the excellent holding ability and changed all seats to black toned seat upholstery to produce the sharp and sophisticated interior space.

*1 Sports conversion series, which TMC develops based on the concept of "CONTROL AS YOU LIKE" to customers who are obsessed with "Fun of driving" and "having an own car".

TOYOTA announced a minor change on Isis and expecting to launch on June 6^th.

This minor change gave a change to front grill design to emphasize the emblem and applied clear lenses to the rear combination lamp. Also three new colors (silky gold, mica metallic, Bordeaux mica metallic, black) are set up for exterior panel.

The glade system was also changed by adding a new specification Platana "V-SELECTION" while vehicle prices for some of the grades have been reduced by reviewing some of the equipment.

TMC applied the same changes to welcab model.

TMC is currently doing our best to reduce delivery time of vehicles to our customers. However, in regards to orders the company receives from here on, the factory shipment is expected to be after April 2012.

As for three row seating models of Priusα, our production depends on the supply of lithium-ion battery and thus reduction of delivery time is extremely difficult. TMC is going to push our production for earlier delivery of two row seating models.

¨         Environment-responsive vehicle Promotion Tax Relief, which will be applied to the Automobile Tax for the following year, is applicable to customers who register a vehicle by March 2012. However, please note that Priusαmay not be applicable to the tax relief as the earliest registration is expected to be after April 2012.

Toyota Motor Corporation launched newly developed Priusα from its four channels: Toyota, Toyopet, Toyota Corolla and Netz.

Priusαinherits "overwhelming fuel efficiency and environmental performance" as well as "spirit of innovation brought by cutting edge technology" from the conventional Prius while equipping ample interior space found useful in various occasions to make the model unique as a hybrid model.

The new model is available in two types: 5 seater type (two row seating) and 7 seater type (three row seating).  The three row seating type adapted the first lithium ion battery as mass-produced hybrid car.  The new model is also equipped with "THS II with Reduction Mechanism".  By synergy effect from the form with excellent aerodynamic performance (CD value 0.29) and weight trimming, the model enabled fuel efficiency of 31.0km/L (10:15 mode) and 26.2km/L (JC08 mode) suggesting new possibilities of hybrid vehicles for various life styles.

For further enhancement of hybrid vehicle, "Prius v", which is based on the two row seating type of Priusα towards the end of this summer as well as "Prius +", which is based on the three row seating type of Priusα in 2012 are expected to be launched in the US and Europe accordingly.

<Main Features>

1.      Unique and advanced design suitable for a new image of hybrid vehicles

3.      Overwhelming environmental performance indicated by top of the class fuel efficiency of 31.0km/L

¨         Hybrid system "THS II with reduction mechanism" (1.8L Atkinson cycle engine). The new Priusα achieved top of the class fuel efficiency of 31.0km/L (10:15 mode) and 26.2km/L (JC08 mode) coupled with excellent aerodynamic performance (CD value 0.29) and weight trimming.

¨         The model achieved high level of quietness by adapting "EV drive mode", which enables quiet driving with only motor, distributing acoustic absorbent, vibration-proofing materials and sound insulator effectively and reducing the sound of wind with the body shape pursuing aerodynamic performance.

4.      Advanced amenities brought by cutting edge technology

¨         Priusαadapted Toyota's first giant plastic panorama roof and one dial air conditioner control, which enabled adjustment of temperature, air volume and AC mode by just single dial operation leading to have both spirit of advancement and usability. Many advanced equipment such as raider cruise control and LED head ramp are on board.

¨         All grades come with S-VSC, 6 SRS airbags, hill start assist control, corner sensor as standard. Addition to those features, by installing cutting-edge pre-crush safety system, the model offers high standard safety.
