Toyota Motor Corporation announces a minor change on Mark X Zio and a launch of the 5 seater grade "240 Five Style".
The minor change includes improvement of control system of engine, transmission, and alternator as well as improvement of fuel efficiency to 13.2 km/L (+0.4 km/L) achieving better fuel efficiency than the 2010 Fuel efficiency Standard by 25%. This qualifies Mark X Zio for the 75% tax exemption (conventional model: 50%) for Automobile Acquisition Tax and Automobile Weight Tax together with the approval it received previously for the 75% lower level than the 2005 Emission Standard.
Also, the newly launched 5 seater grade "240 Five Style" has modified third row seats and the luggage space as well as the standardized deck box storage space enhancing its storability and usability as a wagon model. In addition to above, the Mark X Zio has also become more affordable - the price now starts from 2.49 M yen.
