iQ enhanced fuel efficiency and 1.3L iQ and special specification "+" debut!

New grade 1.3L and improvement of fuel efficiency:

Additional grade "130G" and "130G Leather package" carry 1NR-FE engine using Dual VVT-I to control valve timing for the first time in Japan. By combining Super CVT-i, iQ achieved its fuel efficiency to 23.0km/L when 10.15 mode and 20.8km/L when JC08 mode.  

 

低排出＆燃費25%.JPGBoth 1.0L and 1.3L engines vehicles surpassed the 2010 Fuel Efficiency Standard by 25% or more, in addition to the 75% lower than the 2005 emission standard, so that the 75% tax relief of automobile acquisition tax and automobile tonnage tax is now applied.

Special specification"+" and 2-seater:

The keyword for 100G "+", 100G "Leather package +", 130G "+", and 130G "Leather package +" is 'Accent color', and the concept is 'enjoy coordinating like fashion, and express yourself'.  You can choose the color for outer panel and seat fabric from wide variation, and also you can coordinate original accent color, camel gold or scorpion red, for door cluster, instrument panel cluster, and steering switch panel.  

100X "2-seater" is literally 2-passenger vehicle but the rear seat has been changed to a luggage space, so the superimposed capacity is bigger.

Vitz enhanced fuel efficiency and special specification F"Limited II" debut!

Vitz has been enhanced its fuel efficiency and special specification F"Limited II" has been released on August 19th, available through Netz Toyota.

 

Improvement of fuel efficiency:

Vehicles with 1.0L engine (excl. "Intelligent package" vehicles) have achieved to 22.5km/L*1(+0.5km/L*1 than conventional model), and vehicles with 1.3L-engine (excl. 4WD) have achieved 20.0km/L*1 (+0.4km/L*1 than conventional model) by the improvement of the engine, transmission, and alternator. Vitz's fuel efficiency now surpassed the Fuel Efficiency Standard by 25% or more.

Special specification F"Limited II":

Based on "F", this special edition vehicle is specially equipped with original seat fabric, discharge headlamp (with low-beam and auto-leveling), smart entry & start system, and antitheft system (engine immobilizer system). Also inside door handle and side register has metalizing plating.  They are available in 9 colors including special color, rose metallic opal and dark red mica, for outer panel.

HARRIER special specification; 240G "L Package Limited" debut!

Enhanced Belta with better fuel efficiency has been released on August 17th, available through Toyopet and Toyota Corolla.

 

Belta's 2WD-vehicle has achieved 22.5km/L*1(+0.5km/L*1 than conventional model) with 1.0L engine, and 20.0km/L*1 (+0.4km/L*1 than conventional model) with 1.3L engine by the improvement of the engine, transmission, and alternator. Now Belta's fuel efficiency surpassed  the 2010 Fuel Efficiency Standard by 25% or more.

 

Now the 75% tax relief of vehicle acquisition tax and vehicle weight tax is also applicable to Belta, by a combination of the 75% lower than the 2005 Emission Standard under which Belta already certified.

TOYOTA will expand the range of its models which are applicable for "tax incentive to encourage the purchase of eco-friendly car".

How to cool down inside of the car efficiently

It's August, finally the long rainy season has finished and has turned in to the very hot midsummer. (Well, actually we are having typhoon and trrential rain these days.)

 

When you drive a car in summer, car air conditioning is essential.

Especially after parking a car outside under the scorching sun, it's impossible to grab the steering wheel and sit on a burning seat straight away.  Actually, sometimes it becomes over 70 degrees inside of the car....!

 

Let us give you a tip for such a situation, using air conditioning.

 

First of all, open the all windows of your vehicle to ventilate the interior before you get in. Just doing this helps a lot to cool down the inside of you car. Better still, using a sun shade for the windscreen while the car is parked.

 

After you start driving, crank up the air conditioner and leave the windows open a little.  Also, set the air circulation system to the FRS mode at the same time.

This is a more efficient way to get rid of the heat of the interior, such as the surface of seats and the dash board by air circulation.

 

Then set the air circulation to the REC mode and turn down the air conditioner.  You can cool down inside of the car quickly as well as the wind-chill factor, you feel cooler.  It's better than just tuning on air conditioner, and also has a favorable effect for the fuel consumption!

Based on 'AERAS' (2.4L and 3.5L), these special edition vehicles have luxury interior; such as high-grade "G" fabric for the seat and birdseye maple woodgrain for the steering wheel, shift lever knob, and installment panel.  Also equipped with dual power slide doors, ETC unit, and multi information display to indicate average fuel efficiency and cruising range.

They are available in 4 colors including special color, metallic gray, for the outer panel, and dark gray or gray-beige for the interior.
