As you may already know, 'special ETC toll discount' has started from this March. If you have an ETC (Electronic Toll Collection System) on your car, you can receive a benefit to get discount when using express ways. But this is only for weekends and holidays, also only for ordinary-sized vehicles and kei (mini-sized) vehicles.

Actually this experiment is not for the first time, and the last time was back in 2007. This time the fare after discount is about half of the discount fare from the last time, and less than 1/3 of the regular fare!! Boso
